Chris is far and away the most enthusiastic Amoeba when it comes to equipment. Constantly striving for dense recordings with varied sounds throughout, he has gone through a shop's worth of gear over the years. 

As a result, this section has been broken up into three different eras: the original, Narcissism era; the Boston era, and the modern, post-reunion era.
